This is created using a variation of the player projection model. But instead of individual players it looks at expected performance for each team at each position, and then considers strength/weakness of matchup variables.
This is showing, for example, in Week 7 Ottawa Running Backs are expected to have the most fantasy-point-friendly matchup as Edmonton’s defense gives up the most fantasy points to opposing RBs. Winnipeg QB are expected to have the most difficult matchup as they are scoring the fewest FPs and go up against a Sask defense giving up the 2nd fewest FPs to Quarterbacks.
