This is created using a variation of the player projection model. But instead of individual players it looks at expected performance for each team at each position, and then considers strength/weakness of matchup variables.
This is showing, for example, in Week 9 Saskatchewan Running Backs are expected to have the most fantasy-point-friendly matchup as Edmonton’s defense gives up the most fantasy points to opposing RBs. Montreal WRs are expected to have the best matchup as they are scoring the 2nd most FPs at that position and go up against a 2nd-worst in the league Hamilton defense.
