This is created using a variation of the player projection model. But instead of individual players it looks at expected performance for each team at each position, and then considers strength/weakness of matchup variables.
This is showing, for example, in Week 12 Montreal QBs are expected to have the most fantasy-point-friendly matchup as they are scoring the most FPTS in the league and Edmonton’s defense gives up the 2nd most fantasy points to opposing QBs.
Alternatively, SSK receivers should have a good day against a Toronto defense giving up the most points in the league to Wideouts.
