This is created using a variation of the player projection model. But instead of individual players it looks at expected performance for each team at each position, and then considers strength/weakness of matchup variables.
This is showing, for example, in Week 8 Hamilton Running Backs are expected to have the most fantasy-point-friendly matchup as Edmonton’s defense gives up the most fantasy points to opposing RBs. Sask QB are expected to have the most difficult matchup as they are scoring the third least FPs and go up against a Montreal defense giving up the fewest FPs to Quarterbacks.
